Jaime works on the endangered marsupial carnivore, the northern quoll (Dasyurus hallucatus). On Groote Eylandt, where Jaime works, this species of quoll is partially semelparous - meaning that a proportion of the population completely die off after their first and only breeding season.

Jaime wants to understand differences in performance among individual quolls, and see if it's related to factors like longevity or reproductive success.
